Data Mining - learning from data - typically produces complex, indigestible (uninterpretable) relationships, from which decisions are based.
The Golden Gut - experience (business acumen), provides the basis for excellent decisions. In the world of big data, are data mining and the golden gut complementary, supplementary or mutually exclusive?
